Design Haus Condos is a new mixed-use condo/apartment project currently in pre-construction on College Street near Spadina Avenue in Toronto, Ontario by the Shiu Pong Group.  It is a proposed 17 storeys with 116 residential units of which 116 will be luxury condominium suites and 26 will be rental apartments and will also be involved in hosting a contest for design and planning with the surrounding College and Universities like University of Toronto, OCAD University, Ryerson University and George Brown. The Shiu Pong Group originated in Hong Kong in 1957 and for over 50 years have been constructing and developing residential, industrial and commercial properties worldwide.  They came into Canada in 1972 with real estate developments such as the Dragon City in Toronto's Chinatown, The Radius and the Two Twenty Duncan Mill Condominiums.   Some of their current projects here are: Celsius Condos, Castlemore Homestead Homes and the completed Lotus Condos in Yorkville in 2009.

Partners Steven Kirshenblatt and Clifford Korman founded Kirshenblatt Korman Architects in 1980 and since 1990 has been operating as award-winning architectural firm Kirkor Architects + Planners.  They have a mix of about 60 architects, interns and technologists. They have both local and international clients that they work with in creating sustainable developments.  They are experts in "urban design principles of intensification, mixed-use development and public transportation that are necessary to ensure holistic, healthy building practices".  The right kind of people to design the right kind of condo in the right location.

Together the Shiu Pong Group and Kirkor Architects will design and develop the new Design Haus Condos on 231 College Street by Huron Street in Toronto.
